gypsypunk - hello everyone

well, hi
let me introduce myself my name is krystyna knapik, but i go by K because it's a hell of a lot easier. i'm in the u.s. of a.; i've been looking on the internet for a good place to learn about poland and the people and culture; and i'm very happy to have found this place. i'm about three quarters polish, but don't know my polish family at all, and therefore am pretty ignorant, and don't even speak polish .
so anyway, i'm hoping to meet some people and make some friends and learn some things here

Nice to meet you. I think you've found a good place to learn about Poland, there are some very knowledgeble types here.
As for me, I'm not polish, but i am having a go at learning the lingo...I like a challenge and accordingly have just recently purchased shares in Disprin
