Wszystkiego najlepszego w dniu imienin.

Wszystkiego najlepszego z okazji imienin.

In Poland we say "wszystkiego najlepszego", it is more like "best wishes", or literally "all the best". A literal translation of "Happy Name Day" would not sound very good.

"w dniu imienin" - literally "in your name day"
"z okazji imienin" - on the occasion of your name day

You might say:
"W dniu imienin życzę Ci... dużo szczęścia " (in your name day i wish you ... lots of luck)
"na imieniny życzę Ci ... wszystkiego najlepszego" (the form "na imieniny/urodziny", "for name day" is a bit oldstyle, but it is used sometimes)

Nope, it does not change.

You can say "wszystkiego najlepszego ..." to one, two or more persons.

Wszystkiego najlepszego, Tamara. Wszystkiego najlepszego, Leszek.
or
Wszystkiego najlepszego (z okazji imienin), Tamaro i Leszku.

Thanks for your help.

I was a little confused about which translation was a bit dated, so I used the last one. Oh my gosh, I just looked at my text. This is what I sent him.

Najlepsze zyczenia z okazji imienin

Is this correct? What did I actually say? He texted me back saying he was impressed that I wrote it in Polish. Is it correct?
