hello dec.. I for one, would like to celebrate St Georges Day.. there was supposed to be a campaign last year to get it as widely recognised as Paddys Day.. but doubt it will ever happen.. could this be cos we are not as much of a nation of **** heads as the Paddys or just not as patriotic???

I don't think at times as patriotic and this country tries to restrict the St Georges Day celebrations so as not to "offend" other minorities...what a load of crap... Still i suppose i have the best of both worlds seeing how my parents were Irish...

Have fun Sapphire..

tis true to be sure

i think its so popular initially as emmigrants of Ireland the world over used it to remember where they came from. This biggest patricks day parades are not in Ireland

and id love to see George celebrated! slaying that dragon! and another excuse to P-A-R-T-Y (or take a day off which is my fav aas i drink next to nothing )
