Serbs greately respect Irish people.

So, I would also say- Happy St. Patricks Day to all who celebrate.

During NATO bombardment in 1999, I didn`t choose to go in some shelter. I prefered to go in some Irish pub, to share my time with Guinness.

In that time, different alternative music bands lounched some good songs dedicated to resistance of native Europeans to invaders. I won`t forget those songs.

Many songs were dedicated to Celtic tribe Scordiscs, who were foundators of Serbian Capitol- Belgrade (on Celtic/Proto Slavic dilects- Singidun- short form of `windy top of hill/town/fortress/circle of Sings (Serbs) on Danube`). [Danube is River of great winds and Belgrade (today known as White town) was established on the top of Avala hill. Also, word Danube coming from Slavic word `duvati` (to blow) and it mean River of Winds. Old (previous) name of Danube was Ister (also Slavic word in its root) with meaning- to come out, flow `from spring`. [if just my English is batter]

NOTE: According to Slavic autohtonistic school, Celts (Scordiscs, Boii, etc) were ethnic Proto Slavic formations. Maybe, because of some old connection, Serbs found some similarities with Irish folklore and maybe because of that we like Irish people, same as Scotish and Welsh people. Even designations/names/words: Irish, Welsh and Scots sounds Slavic to me and thru Serbian/Slavic languge, I easely can understand final/true meaning of those words.

I think that Slavs have common with even Africans... who knows...we were the ancient African who came into Europe (supposedly in pre-historic times).

Maybe... whats the harm thinking about it

Well... maybe, if you insist, but I didn`t heard for scientific evidences about it.
