How hard would it be to get just a regular job in Poland--if you were not born there :( ; and how hard to become a Polish Citizen?

You could probably teach English right away :)

No lie, they want English teachers there pretty bad I guess. Everytime someone asks this question "English Teacher" is top reply :)

First you must name every King of Poland.

Then you must correctly pronounce the word 3 in Polish

Then you must eat your weight in Ogorki and drink it in Wodka

Lastly you must fillout 363 different forms then be told you didn't have to fill out half and the other half you filled out incorrectly. Then wait about 6 months as the courts go on hiatus for the summer. Then they will lose your paperwork and you will have to start over. Then every single clerk will tell you a different thing to do and send you to about 8 different ofices and the last office you visit will tell you to visit the first office you visited and then they will give you the correct papers which they could have given you a year ago, but you didn't specifically ask for the form by number only for "the citizenship form" you will ask "didn't you know what I meant?" they will say "of course, but you must ask for the form by name those are the rugulations" then you must go to the post office and pay the fee and go back to the correct office, they will be busy and tell you to come back in one hour you will return and they will be closed. The next day you will go there and they will say you need a special stamp which you can buy downstairs you will go there and they will be all out of the stamps you need and tell you to come back in one hour, when you return they will be closed. You return the next day buy your stamp go back to the office and file you papers. They will tell you to wait 30 days. After 30 days they will tell you they are late processing your papers in Warsaw and to call next week. You will call next week and they will say they have never heard of you and you must start from the begining.

The first two are B.S. the third while a fabrication is based on my dealings with government offices in Poland and of course fabricated to I hope an amusing effect. But its not so far from the truth believe it or not.

You forgot the part where you mention you have to slide across the border and back to keep your passport valid for the 90 days and they mention Slivka is great Vodka in Slovakia so you pick up a couple bottles for bargining power and BAM! You are a polish citizen!
