Really!!! , My grandchildren should have a different view I presume WHAt happens if a natural disaster like a volcano adds to the mess It is all our fault where we are today That Green bay football game di=d not have to be at night and wast more energy . Maybe we should eliminate all nighly sporting events ? That would save a bunch of energy. We are kicking the warming issue into overdrive because money rules and the planet suffers.

IMO Global Warming will affect Poland’s economy in a big way. There are IPCC plans to put a $30-$100 tax on every ton of CO2 and coal is the biggest CO2 polluter out of all the energy sources used by man today. Coal has been a pillar of Poland's economy, that's why taxes on CO2 will hurt them so much. Unfortunately, unless some radical steps are taken now, this will surely throw Poland down the bankruptcy path.

I agree. Unfortunately I believe that Greenpeace is against the nuclear energy and they are very powerful in Europe.

I am beginning to wonder what snow looks like here. I am sure we will get one big one yet this year in between the warm cycles.

winter weather and global warming

Hi all,

I am still a newbie here, but just curious, I am a south african and of course married to a stunning pole girl. I am used to hot weather, when I got here I was excited, snow boarding and building snow man, It snowed awhile in lublin, I got 2 build my snow man, but he died next day. lol.

Can any1 tell me what effect global warming will have on the southern hemisphere?

at least you got to build the snow man . How would you like own a prosperous orchard as I do and not get any fruit. Problem is the weather cycles and I could only hope the trees somehow adapt to the cycles
