I do have a piece of land in Lublin ( City limits) and I don`t know what to do with it... I was thinking that maybe apartments will be a good choice! Can somebody tell me if it will be a good business?

I'm not sure... people rather leave Lublin and go to cities like Warsaw, Cracov or just abroad... also keep in mind that this area is one of the poorest in Poland.

Maybe, I'm not sure. Good salary in Lublin is approximately 3000 PLN, it's just sad... but I have to add that some people like to live here.

My husband got that land time ago, we live in the US, but he wants to come back to his country and start a business there. We trying to decided if construction will be one of them. But if people make that low, how do they pay rent and live. How much cost an apartment there?
What will be a good business or investment there, is lublin growing?

I used to live in Lublin but now I have moved to Pulawy, still quite close and the market price for one square meter is about 4000-4500 zl and growing. There is talk of an airport being built quite close, when it does the prices will start to go up even more. New housing always seems to get snapped up, so there is a market there it seems. My English friend has just briught a flat there and was on a waiting list for 2 years, but I must admit he was waiting for an exclusive flat. If you want any help, I have a friend who is a property valuer and she might be able to help you.

They're talking about that at least for 5 years or even more... :) We will see, I wish Lublin all the best of course and I hope that things will get better here soon.

Most of people take credits for 15-25 years to buy a flat and costs of living aren't so high here...

Lublin is maybe not very impressive compared to some large cities like Warsaw, Kraków or Wroc³aw but It's better than average, so don't worry.

Could be but the most important is to check the status of that land - If construction is allowed there or only for farming.

Thank you for the information, sounds like it might not be a good idea ( construction), however I will try to check the status of the land. (I might need your friends help)
The question again is what will be a good investment to do in Poland? (Regardless of the city)
Somebody have any idea? My husband owns a janitorial in the US, will be that a good business there?

UKPOLSKA,
May I asked you, how much did your friend pay for his flat?
How big is his flat, Bedrooms- bathrooms- etc.?
Are the apartments the same as in States?

Not really. Now there's boom in construction, which should go on for next few years at least.
