Health Insurance for Polish people

What are the options for Polish people to get health insurance?

I have my private health insurance from Holland and this covers me worldwide.
Now my wife used to be insured with her parents, after getting married she now is supposed to be insured together with me.....(??) She doesn't work, does attend several courses where she pays some for some kind of health care.

Now I would like to get her properly insured for health care, but have a had time finding a comprehensive (private) health insurance in Poland. Does anyone have any experience with this, maybe can recommend a insurance company?
Thanks,
Cosmo

Hi, Cosmo. I understand that your wife is POLLISH right? There are some private insurers in POLAND but....that's a new amrket and private insurance it's a NERW THING in POLAND (I live in the US where everything ALMOST) is private in a health sector (private but non-profit) . So, there is no-way to insure your wife PRIVATE for POLAND. Poland has a government social-insurance plan. They will try to establish private plans but that's going to take lots of time and it's not gping to be as good as in HOLAND for a long time....

My wife wanted to do laser depilation in Poland (in a private clinic), but after checking and comparing prices in the US versus Poland they were about the same so the money will stay in the US .

First of all D-rek is WRONG.

There are private companies in Poland that will insure any person from any country.

interpolska
warta
signal iduna

The problem is they all are missing 'something' to make any one of them a good package.
One might not cover surgery...one might not cover medicines...etc etc. The cost for a woman was something like 3200zl per year minimum with men being about half as much.
