Neither can I.

Last fm has ticket prices and some other stuff, but no band listings yet.

I went in 2005. Only disappointing thing was the fact that beer had to be purchased and consumed within a fenced-off area from which the main stage couldn't be seen and barely heard. We spent the evening dashing back there every 20 mins to neck a pint and dash back. Since the beer was served in plastic cups, I still can't see what they were trying to achieve by this....

Hm, and how many Złoty go into one Euro?

Actually, this is a tip for Poles living in the Netherlands: at the end of August each year, there is a festival in one of the new lands in the IJsselmeer (Issel Lake - Flevoland, Biddinghuizen) which lasts for 3 days and on those 3 days you can watch over 120 acts -big acts, upcoming acts: basically you're going to see what's hot for the next few years for, I believe it was 120 Euro for 3 days including camping. It's called (A campingflight to the) Lowlands festival. Just check it out, if you're into new music, no matter what genre, it's definitively worthwhile checking. And believe me: Franz Ferdinand, Fun Loving Criminals, to name but a few, made their first appearance there.

Sure does, looks like a bargain when compared to some UK festivals.

i have heard that there is an english speaking company who will pick festival goers up at the airport, drop them at the festival and provide camping equipment etc then take you back to the airport for return flights

is anybody using this service?

Glasto... hey I remember leading a charge over the fences one year, it was like a scene of BraveHeart, excepting the crowd consisted of crusties and travellers........
Hilarious having pulled down the outer wire fence we scalled the 14+ft interior wall, whilst dodging the security. Awesome....everyone fuelled on Scrumpy and dirty phets...
yee haw.....

I think my festival days are behind me LOL. Enjoy it Jova.

I suggested it to my sons but the younger two are heading for Reading Festival. The line up looks great there too.

Splendid. It's a shame that you are only allowed to drink Heineken there. But since this is the man sponsor I guess it makes kind of sense. ;)

You mean the Carling Festival Weekend (Reading & Leeds). Should have been called the K9P Weekend.
