if there was anybody interested in responding they probably will not bother now.

Of course they could always PM her......heck if I were a Polish man I would.....if for no other reason than the fact that she was willing to put herself out there! YOU GO GIRL! ;)

as you get older, Tornado, that life just isn't that simple.....

Another reference of sorts to my age!!! why is it that people always refer to this, experience isn't just about age, its what your exposed too.
Quoting: szarlotka
When you should not have done do so.

ok then everybody should stop posting then we'll have a boring forum, i have already apologised to sunflower and i don't think this is the only time a forum has been hijacked at least i have the integrity to apologise, which you don't get often on this forum :)

Quoting: szarlotka
Look at it from her perspective. She now views it as a condemnation of her actions and if there was anybody interested in responding they probably will not bother now.

while i don't speak of Sunflower only, i do believe that this type of thing is un-needed so i don't really mind if people don't post back :). I'm sure Sunflower will find somebody and i'm almost certain that she dosen't need to use forums to do so:)

No. Everyone should make more of an effort to adhere to the Forum guidelines. And it needn't be boring. There are threads that lend themsleves to a more conversational approach. This is not one of them.

I'm sure this is true but if she chooses to use the forum in this way she should be allowed to do so without being made to feel that it is wrong, however unintentional that may have been.

Admin - can I suggest that all but the original post in this thread be moved and just leave Sunflower's original post - assuming she wants to keep it.

I agree with you, and I was not knocking you because of your age....you have to admit though, the longer you have lived, the more likely you are to be "exposed" to more, thus having more experience. Again, you will understand as you get older. ;)

If i'm exposed to very much more of this I don't think i'll get to see my bus pass. :) I'm off to thank the big ear in the sky for small mercies and 18th century Apiary apparel. :)

maybe you could work for the spin doctors that are the british government, hide the points of view that you don't agree with. IT DOES NOT WORK, people who have a point of view have a right to post as long as it is not abusive or over aggressive. It seems ok to brown nose but when it comes to having a differing opinion it should be taken of the forum :)

yes i understand your point and take it on board, however some people are brought up with the proverbial 'silver spoon' where as others are thrown in at the deep end, i can tell you i was thrown in at the deep end.

Having said that i do understand that there are things you can't learn until your older

Admin, any chance I can delete this post, I feel ashamed!!

you have no reason to feel shame

Quoting: tornado2007
Well i know a lot more than you think :) just because i'm young it does not mean i haven't experienced anything, its about exposure and experiences of which i'm not short of so you can put your 'young' line back in the locker and make it secure with a big padlock :)

so why do your comments sound immature and clueless? Life certainly hasn't taught you humility has it?

Where did I say that you should not be free to post a differing opinion? All I said is that you were wrong to post it where you did. Do you or do you not accept that?

And I think you owe me an apology. I have never once on this Forum or in life attempted to deny anybody the right to express their opinion.

Tornado2007 - I'm fed up of reading all your crap anytime I look on here, why don't you get a life instead being on the internet all day and spoiling other people’s good intentions?

i think you will find that was in reply to bubba, who needs dealing with in a different way from other people, where as we are having a discussion bubba just makes out of the blue comments and needs to be dealt with differently :)

You like to have a pop at me daisy so why don't you just do it, instead of hiding and waiting for others to join in, take it on yourself :)

i accept i could have posted it somewhere else, however it dosen't mean it should be moved as it is pretty relevant considering it was in one of the areas of 'polish singles' which i was talking about.

i'm sorry if i made it looked like you don't let others voice their opinions it was not meant like that, so i apologise for that.

on the internet all day?? thats a laugh, before this morning i haven't even been on the net for near enough a week. If your going to post negative about me at least try and make yourself look a little intellegent :)

As for peoples 'good intentions' thats a matter of opinion, i'm glad your fed up of my crap, nice to know that somebody is reading :)

You could class me as a 'sad' individual. I'm a single mum don't go out much because of my boys and lack of money so it is hard to meet anyone.
I'v made a lot of friends on here, but i don't think i could class you as one of them. Just knock our confidence even more why don't you. >:-(

get rid of that chip on your shoulder and grow up...so life's been tough has it? show me someone who's had an easy life cos I've never met one yet.

You keep bleeting on about your right to say what you think, but you don't like it when people tell you what they think about your comments.

A rule for poor little Torny and another for everyone else.

Fine you've got a right to your opinion and Sunflower has a right to post on singles thread without having to face abuse.

Sunflower's had a sh1t time of it lately, and she's decided to move on and get on with her life, good for her! right now she needs support from others, not criticism. Before you say your post wasn't directed at her, you posted it on her thread.

don't know what that comment is in reference too???? so i can't comment

i didn't say i minded i was just wondering why your always negative towards me??? you never seem to want to do anything accept comment on my age, naivety, experiences and so on. Fine tell me i'm wrong and give reasons why, thats what a debate is but just saying , 'your to young to understand' or 'you'll learn' is a get out line for a proper response.

no my dear double standards is not part of my rule book :)

I've already stated it was not aimed at Sunflower iin fact i apologised to her if it seemed that way.

ow now there is double standards, slagging me because you think i have a chip on my shoulder and then stating that Sunflower has had a hard time :)

Quoting: Daisy
Before you say your post wasn't directed at her, you posted it on her thread.

which is exactly why i apologised to her, so she didn't get the wrong idea.

what ever problem you have with me why don't you just out it, i've not said anything to you out of order ever on here, you just seem to jump on the band wagon when there are a few others debating with me and in you come with your cheap shots. I don't have a problem with you at all in fact i'm quite happy talking with you because while being 'ageist' is usually from the younger generation to the older it seems in this case the other way around. I'm just interested in why??

Don't feel bad - You are a normal person doing what is normal in this day and age - if it helps at all - my brother met his now wife on the internet and they have a child together and are very happy - they were married 5 years ago.

He was wrong to post that - it is a stigma which he carries with himself about internet dating. I believe he has apologised.

Hey - I'm single - wanna meet for coffee ? But - sadly - I'm not Polish :-(

I know why you are looking for one - they are great people
