I WOULD LOVE TO FIND A POLISH DRESS FOR MY LITTLE GIRL.
LIKE THE KIND THE LADYS WEAR AT THE POLISH FESTIVALS TO DANCE IN. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I MIGHT FIND THIS FOR A TWO YEAR OLD?

I've seen a few for sale in the gift shops at both Polish Churches, in Los Angeles and Yorba Linda, CA. They're quite costly, because the vests are usually beaded by hand. The process can be very time consuming. Possibly a seamstress could make a customized outfit at a cheaper cost.

Be sure to post a pic of your little angel in her traditional outfit.

Dziêkujê

I mean a traditional dress, black beaded vest, red skirt with beads and white blouse.. like a folk dress. There was a place in Passaic NJ where my Mother bought them for my sisters many years ago, but living in South Carolina USA, I feel like I may be the only Pole in town! Thanks to all .

There is a wonderful online source for costumes- - try setting your browser to perfekt.krakow.pl/en (for the english language version). They have an extensive catalog of folk costumes avail, based on various regions in Poland. All are lovely and prices vary by style and size. If you browse their guest book comments, you'll see they are very popular with Polish folk dance groups in the US and world wide. Some of the more popular styles can be bought "off the rack" while others are custom made to your measurements. I bought a complete costume for my 5 yr old grandaughter for about $200.

Actually, the situation has recently deteriorated to such an extent that we Poles are forced to walk the streets naked. Good it's getting warmer!!!
