!HELP! Need Contacts in Poland. Autos. Export.

Hello, I'm a used auto dealer here in NEW YORK, USA. I know that prices on cars in Poland are about 40%-70% higher than it is in USA. I'm looking for an honest contact in Poland to export automobiles. It would be great if you do auto business in Poland, if you don't but interested, I'm sure we could work something out. Please don't say things that you don't know. PLEASE! Do yourself a favor and check on nissan.pl, the price for a brand new Murano (that is around $60K start for a basic) US starting price for the same car is around 28. If you are on 4th grade level of math you'll know it's about 110% less than it is in Poland. It is not a scam that I'm trying to make here, it is business. Thanks!

I checked and you are right, sorry. But I don't think there are many potential buyers as it seems to be a little overpriced (a great car for sure though).

Forget about that car for a minute. That's just an example(and I don't deal with new cars) You could make up to $1-3K with other vihicles that are in demand. You seem like a serious person, because you came back after you did a research to admit that you are wrong, I admire that! All you have to do is get local laws, tariffs(for import) and local prices so I get the idea on how much cars run for and which cars are in demand. I would really appriciate it and you will too if we will get to know each other better and will do this together. Thank You.

Aga I've worked with an exporter of cars and there is a lot more to deal with than just shipping and taxes. Read up on some of the requirements in New York on shipping internationally and you'll be amazed at how much you will need to spend.


Although, there are shortcuts to the system but you really need to be in the biz for a while to get to know them.

I am looking to start new business in exporting and importing vehicles to all parts of the world, however I want to start with Central and Eastern Europe. I am in the frieght forwarding/ customs borkerage business in Chicago so I have acguired knowledge about customs procedures, I have many valuable contacts in the business, access to information and many overseas partners. hmmmm i wonder where the closest nissan autoplant is to poland. it would make sense to import from the closest source to poland. there's got to be a manufacturer closer than north america, hasn't there?
If I were Polish and living in Poland I'd look for a closer contact if i were dealing in Japanese makes.

I'm a Canadian living in Poland. If anyone is interested, I can buy a vehicle for you in Canada. It will have to stay there for about 6 months before it can be imported here, of course there are taxes and modifications that have to be done but, if anyone is interested let me know.

My Gf and I are wanting to import a car to poland from Canada. She is a dual citizen and we are having trouble finding info. on the procedures and what is needed for customs papers, taxes, etc. etc. ...

we are going this summer for 2 months to Krakow, Warsaw, and her hometown, Radom, and we figure that it would be easier to import a car from here and then leave the car there for family, instead of renting a car for that time.
