Help regarding finding Polish Birth Records

Hi,
I am interested to know how to find out if an ex girlfriend of my had a child in paticular month. I have her name and town. Is there anyway of finding this information out on the internet?

Any help most appeciated.

She is from Poland, Bydgoscz. Does anyone know how to find birth records for that town?

Someone will help you eventually. But I can tell you this...even if you find the right office the chances of you getting the info without going there yourself are slim...very slim.

No, this isn't public information and definitely not available on the internet. Birth certificates are only released to close relatives, and I'm pretty sure a hospital won't let you see patient records.

first of all with a name like kkk, your not going to get squat from me.. even if I knew.
second of all. Birth certs are private.. why dont you find out via family? or is this
something you cant do because you are no longer welcome?

living individuals..maybe he should have kept better contact.. if she ran, theres
always a reason.

What the hell is your problem? Yeah maybe she ran because she was a scumbag...it doesn't mean this guy did something to her like you are insinuating. It might be his fault and might not. Why are you treating him like crap?

other then that.. everyone knows that birth records are private information..
the only one who can get them is the mother ( who has legal custody)
and I know Polands records are very private.. so I doubt he will get info on this.
especially living persons.

to the legal parents.. and if they were so available .. imagine all the credit problems

I know I wouldnt.. and I think its safe to say that this was a good thing they placed
to protect the peoples privacy.. so yes I make alot more sense then you do on this

in the United states we have laws that protect everyone because of so much stealing
and look at all the nigerian scams going on.. one was just the other day on this site

I am trying to trace polish ancestors; My grandfather's name was Kazimierz (americanized to Casimir) Szymanski and he was from Tomaszow-Lubelski, Poland. I believe he was born when that town was part of Prussia. I have records from LDS that are written in Russian and I can't read them. He married Antonina Petrynga (I don't know how to spell last name). She died in late 40's or early 50's in Poland. My grandfather died and was buried in Michigan in 1950's. My father's name was Andrew Szymanski. Can anyone help me with facts to get further on this?

Theoretically one should contact the Dział Ewidencji Ludności (Population Records Dept) of the municipality in question which has such data on file. Whether they agree to give out suich information is anotherr story. Due to all the so-called personal-data-protection nonsense going round in recent years, that is highly unlikely. Even tenants lists have disappeared from Polish blocks of flats.

How can I research birth records from 1880's? I am trying to track a great-grandmother whom I believe was 'gypsy' but claimed to be born in Poland. Thanks!
