Hi people I've been to poland lots of times before, I love travelling by train First class. I.ll be travelling agian this March to Krakow staying at the Chopin for a few days. Can anyone tell me the best way of getting from the main train station (glowny) to the Chopin hotel and bypassing the Roadworks at Rondo Mokliskie other then by taxi

Bulldog.........where do you travel to Poland from?The UK?I didn't realise they did trains from the UK to there..........whats the cost,etc?

I once took the train from Holland to Germany to Wroclaw. Can't remember the journey time. Trains are no problem from the UK. The only problems might be Time taken, cost, connection times.

If it helps: London, Victoria [bus station] - Wroclaw [bus station] = 24 hours. I have done it in 19 hours. Cost 600zl or less [return]

I'm flying from Stansted on Air berlin to Berlin then by train from Berlin OstBahnhof to krakow via warsaw. It costs about 80 euros first class all the way, Although it can be done from the UK Waterloo interational to Brussels Nord, Brussels Nord to Koln HBF Then Koln Hbf to Berlin HBF (Lerhter ) Stay the night then as Above Cost Too Much (230+Euros)
