Hi! I'm new to this forum, I like very much the mood everybody shows here, it feels so friendly! :-)

I live in Mexico, but soon (in March '07) will travel to England, to work for 6 months in a meditation camp.

I became interested in polish people because I meet a person from there, and I was left very intrigued (? perhaps I should write 'curious'?) about how people in Poland is.

I hope to make some friends! And please, feel free to ask me whatever you wish about Mexico and spanish language! And very soon, about Oxford too ;-) .

Maybe it's because they kidnapp people and steal their internal organs over there.

all the mexicans

It seems you don't understand the word "all". It means "wszyscy/kazdy" in Polish. If one of the forum members knows at least one Mexican who has not "illegaly crossed the border into the US", your claim is useless and invalid.

I know at least a few who are international students in the US and they are here legally.

You are right, but i was not using it in the literal sense, its a NYC thing to say all when its obviously not all.

Well, I'm not Mexican but I've had Mexican friends and their reasons for coming over were to find work. There aren't enough jobs over there and poverty is a serious problem. Their ultimate goal is to send money back to their families in Mexico so they can pay the rent, buy food, etc. over there.

i heard a great story once about the italians and americans in mexico... it was about how they discovered this wondeful red fruit there... the italians took it home and created a whole cuisine... delicious and renowned worldwide... out of this wonderful red fruit... the americans squashed and made a sauce...

... obviously i have no idea if there is any truth in this... it happened a long time ago...

Hi! they cross the border to the USA because there they earn about 10 times as much money as they would earn in Mexico, so they send their families the money and became less poor. Generally they're people who did agriculture work.

Maybe it's because those states once belonged to them.

Uh, peole who cross the border are generally woman and young men (17 to 22 y.o.), they don't think about kidnapping anybody, that sort of things sont cross their minds! They just dream to find some McJob or do cleaning jobs. They're very peaceful people, and choose to look for a job outside their country, than became criminals in their country. :-) We look at them with sympathy. And USA citizens look at them as useful workers, but some of them look at them as competency :-S I can't understand why! :-) They don't lke to wash dishes ;-)

We were joking about the other topic on Mexico, about how women are being kidnapped in Juarez and the police claim it's a ring of people who sell their internal organs.

Oh yes, I figure it now! It's sad :-( it must stop right now... they say it has something to do with men hating women... anyway, it's very wrong and must stop immediately. It's a shame. :'(

Yes, it was an historical fact as much as a later movie; a bloody battle that the USA lost to Mexico. Yes, some of the southern states of the USA were part of Mexico, and then, sold in a legal, political manoeuvre from the then-Empreor of Mexico, Ignacio Lopez de Santa-Anna. When a mexican says that those territory belongs to us, generally they say that as a joke, but there are some radicals who really see that as a robbing. Most mexicans are in peace with the facts.

As long as you stop coming here illegally and commiting crimes, we will not have a problem.

Hahaha, don't worry about that, for my though! I just will cross the UK borderline legally, via a Mexico-Canada-Heathrow flight, and will assist some famous yoga teatchers :-D and maybe drive a Rolls-Royce! They want me to take people from Oxford to London once-a-week, and they have a lot of money, that's why I think it'll be a rolls :-D . Mexican driver... what a cliche! ;-)

There was a guy talking about how the border is so tight in cali that smugglers are leading the illegals through the arizona dessert where a good amount end up dieing because of the harsh conditions. Then you have these human rights people B!tching about those poor dead illegals, like we have some how inconvenienced these people by haveing too much security around other southern states. Why they want the southern states back is beyond me they have all of mexico and they can't even make anything out of that. Now that we have built and developed the southern states they want them back. Tough **** you lost the battle. If we started handing back land europe would look kinda funny on the map.
