I would like to point out that there are many Poles who are illegally in the States. They are in the States on expired visas; some had come to the US under false pretenses, etc. Poles are in the US because of economics. (yes, I know, Poles did not crossed the boarder illegally)

In recent years, many Poles left Poland for EU countries because of economics. While abroad, few Poles committed crimes and embarrassed their Polish communities.

Economics is the reason why Mexicans and South Americans come to US illegally.
I live in Arizona. All Mexican I have dealt with are very industrious people and they are not criminals. As a Pole, feel that there are many similarities between the two immigrant groups, Mexicans and Poles, and their struggles for economic betterment.
