Dobry wieczor mutley

Know what you Mean about Pronounciation just looking at polish is hard let alone trying to say it got myself cd for the computer and another book before christmas
Know a few basic words but not enough to have conversation with my Polish friends who actually do speak better english than me.
But It's handy one of them used to live in the US so she understands me fine but my other friend has a little more difficulty so it would be nice to be able to speak to her and of course learn another language!

originally i only decided to learn a few phrases to make things easier for me at work.all my agency staff are nearly all polish.it also generates a more friendly atmosphere.also i thought it polite if i could at least say good morning in polsih (dzien dobre)
if your staff like their work and working for you it makes the job easier.
so over the last 6 months i have got alot of very good friends.

my gf name day is on the 21st of this month so have to arrange something special 4 her

any suggestions.....??

Hi telefonitika

I'm off to Krakow again on 4th march my two week course starts on the 5th costing me 220 for the two weeks staying at the hostel I stayed last year Momotown in jewish district of Krakow a good bunch of people work there.

so another one from sunny donny then think maya said she was in Doncaster too as for the local colleges here In Colchester (a joke) don't seem to be offering the Polish language option had some interesting quotes for doing privatly from £800 a group to 24.50 an hour

how are you finding learning Polish? a bit worried that I'll struggle I know some polish (Lonely planet phrasebook and computer cd) but not enough to have a full conversation with someone so hope I can be more confident with that after the two weeks is up.

Well i had my listening assessment tonight and passed with 75% and i hadnt really done any revision for it as i have been preccupied house hunting here in Doncaster lately but i surprised myself ... i am not confident at all with the speaking of polish as i have no one to listen and correct me anymore as the polish i knew from where i worked have left ... so i really need some assistance in this area and i only get to speak polish now once a week at college.
I have the Lonely Planet Phrasebook
Czesc, Jak sie Masz? book and Cd
another cd - prismular (or however it spelt) lessons

thats about it

I am on the course till the week commencing 9th July then i am off to Poland for three weeks following it ... commencing booking it and that end of month cant wait

A pretty good mark

Where in Poland are you heading after your course finishes? This will be my third visit to Krakow in the space of a few months but I'll have to check out the reccomendations to visit the Tri cities in the north when it gets a bit warmer
