Ah, you're not getting mixed up with either Pi³sudski's Legions or the fact there are quite a few Poles in the French Foreign Legion? OR that sometimes writers might refer to Napoleon's Polish regiments as 'Polish legions'.

Hmmm, not sure. The old method of teaching French in the French FL is/was to hit the guy who didn't understand until he learned it. I think most foreigners wouldbe beaten to death using that method to teach Polish.

Why? We have great soldiers, resourcefull, brave and well trained why would you invite people with murky past to do our job when we can do it so much better?

France has an excess of money and a sentiment towards the colonial past, not to mention French people dont relish the idea of war of dying for a good 100 years now so in France why not, in Poland? Never.

it has nothing to do with france. the people that joined the french foreign legion were usually people that were trying to avoid punishments in their own country(start a new life) our had ties that they perceived strong to france. so ill ask again is there a facet of the polish army that allows foreigners of polish desent to join. seeing how there are plenty of threats and always have been unlike sheltered overated scandanavians who still live off the notoriety of the vikings and have done little to nothing since(other than the danish)

how many foreigners fought for norway during world war II? Probably none since germany had oslo by lunchtime and the whole of norway in like three days. we will just say there wasnt enough time for them to enlist.that was the reason. maybe the blood does run thick and the norweigan foreigners were pascifists too.

This is your lucky day. This pre-war Polish soldier's kepi is even adapted for riding.

OOps, sorry!

Yeah, forget what I said. The Poles actually fooled the Swedes into going home by putting signs up telling them there was football match on TV (then the Poles went to drink some more warka).

They tried, but some operations went down caused by lack of dollar$
It was an trade "union" or "deal" with Liberia making it de facto an protectorat, can't remember if it went into reality or not tho.

It tried to establish colonies or settlements abroad, but not in the traditional colonial sense. It was largely a failure. Some info here:
