Tegoborze Prophecy (Polish: Przepowiednia z Tegoborza) is a verse composition, which describes post-World War One and post-World War Two fate of Poland. Its origins date back to late 19th century, however, its author and exact date of creation have not been confirmed so far.

I think that is a very interesting prophecy or maybe just great expectations. Nevertheless it would be beneficial for Europe and the world to have a peaceful stabilizing power in this part of Europe. What do you think - discus!:)

Prophesy - Poland from sea to sea.

Poles have only one thing left to do: dig the huge hole in the ground somewhere near Krakiw, buy some salt from Ukraine, wait for rain and voila: from sea to sea in all its beauty ;) As a matter of fact, you might even make an island of your country and plant some palm-trees ;) Can you imagine tourism hype? Dubai in the middle of Europe! Come and take a cruise within a continent! ;0

Oh, but we have our own salt - near Kraków, too. Ever heard about Wieliczka and Bochnia salt mines? As for the palm trees, there's one in the center of Warsaw, for some unknown reason I seem not to be able to post a link, but google "palma Warszawa rondo de Gaulle'a". So, what else do we need in order to become a world power? :)

By the way you should go to Ukraine and read some stuff they write and they are dead serious about it - that we can talk about Nathan: the mania de grandeur sky is the limit and BS!

If you're sceptical about prophecy, check out Agnieszka Pilchowa. Some of her prophecies, thankfully recorded by observers at the time, are precise and detailed and came true.

What are you talking about? Are you saying that the Japanese-American war will complete the Polish-German war? This is absurd. Agnieszka Plichowa

A booklet entitled Through the windows of time (Przez okna czasu) by Stanisław Hadyna (journalist, writer, and founder of the folkdance group Ol1sk) recalls two famous people of the 1930's who can justifiably be considered to have been the Polish precursors of a phenomenon called the New Age. Nah, dear iron...you're not jumping about and insulting people, you just make some readers jump. :) There is nothing wrong with expressing opinions, it however depends how it is done so readers don't jump.

Back to topic. In my childhood years in Poland i heard many times about 'krolowa Saba or Sybilla' prophecies. It was pretty interesting to read but since I was not a believer even as a kid, I don't remember much of the prophecies. I think there was a little, old and beat up book passed around with her predictions. I remember reading about a small country being the reason for the end of the world. Israel?
Are the predictions of Queen Sabah (Sibilla?) still 'alive' in Poland?

Polish writers who are recognised and appreciated in the world because their productions are understood by people. Other Polish writers are not known because their art is good and understandable only for Poles.

Who are you going to put forward as a Polish cultural expansion bearers if you reject Mrożek and probably a few others? :):):):)

Not correct! I may have said about it as a possibility, but nothing more!

For cultural expansion literature in polish language is enough as polish culture is attractive for the part of the world we need it for!:P

which kind of question is that? it is same as if woman ask- `would you love me more after sex?` answer is regularly positive but i tried even with negative answer and they loved it. Only God understand them

anyway,... why folks between Poland and the Black Sea wouldn`t be kin? They were kin. less influence of Germany, Britain, Saudi Arabia, France, USA, Turkey and more influence of Poland and everything would be alright.

What a kind of question is that? The answer is so obvious. It is as if to ask a Serb whether he wants his country to be a part of Albania. Of course, would be his answer. Serbians die to see it happen and I pray that their wishes come sooner than later.
