What are the key features of the Polish Eagle?

And a lot of monarchies have no crown, nor an eagle, nor a lion in their coats of arms, and some do not even have a coats of arms us such. This doesn't change the symbolism of the crown of the Polish Eagle, stemming from the European heraldic tradition.

Symbols say what people who created them say they say, and if others have different opinions, they just have no understanding. I've just checked the Austrian coat of arms, which bothered me always, and it turns out that sickle and hammer were introduced in 1919 with no reference to communism.

Interesting that Ben Franklin wanted the wild turkey to be the American symbol, because it is a very smart bird, and not the bald eagle, which is mainly a scavanger and a thief of other bird's food.

Discussions about the arms have been triggered in the past by differing political interpretations, especially by the use of the hammer and the sickle and the broken chains, since the crossed hammer and sickle are a widespread symbol of communism, as is the breaking of chains. Surveys have however confirmed, that understanding of the actual symbolism of the arms is widespread.

And the 'actual symbolism' is hammer for industry, sickle for agriculture, mural crown for the middle class.

The German version gives the date of ''Gesetz über das Staatswappen und das Staatssiegel
der Republik Deutschösterreich" as 9 May 1919, so it's before the Bolshevik Revolution. However, I am not sure if Addendum 202 was already there.

:) there was some discussion about what is left and what is right, remember?

If this is from Austria, then May 1934 was during the kanzlership of Dollfuss, 'austrofascist', who delegalized NSDAP in 1933. The Austrian coat of arms in this period did not have hammer nor sickle. Pretty confusing.

The one with the black border and the two headed eagle looks Russian to me.

Perhaps that one was during the time of ' Congress Poland ' when Poland was technically Russia but had its own autonomy.......until the mid 1860's when uprisings against the Russians began.

The fact that you look on Polish matters from Mongol perspective :) Luckily your mongoloid Asian
"empire" is farther from our borders than it has ever been throughout history. It doesn't even border
our Glorious Rzeczpospolita (I don't count that little piece of ruskiland between Poland and Lithuania.)

From a Mongol state to an empire, and back to a Mongol state again. Funny how history moves in circles :)

In a very simple way. Peter was alfa and omega of Russian life in those times, he was russian Jovi. He both created Preobrazhensky regiment and commissioned its march.
