Maybe you should stop bragging how 'great" you were (are) ?
Yes, you are an orderly country and doing great, but belittling your neighbors is not going to earn you respect, is it?

Germany was never Polands friend...we never broke a treaty or a promise to you...

no maybe you didnt, but he has a point, you sit and rub it into peoples faces, but
the money your country recieved was to rebuild.. remember Germany was a Pile
of rubble too.. and he has a very valid point, to which I can say I think he is
correct in saying the war did slow economic growth..

I believe Poland would be in a much better position.. whether anyone thinks
they prob wouldnt move on...im sure they would have moved alot further and
culture would still be strong as ever..

your not to blame for what happened, but of course your defending it all the time
so therefore involving yourself in the mix of it,, so of course you or anyone else
cant be upset if people still converse about it..

Yeah, I'm kind of surprised that BBoy never tries to "invade" his Eastern Germany brothers..why don't you direct your energy there? I heard on the radio, that west Germany is ashamed of their eastern brothers...start 'fixing' them. Will you? In the mean time they should be a perfect, border cushion. hehehehe.

Ahh, good to see you back fruend ( :

Now, I want to have a diskussion with you!
Where do you see Poland and Germany, oh lets say, 10 years from now? You spoke of anti-Polish sentiment in Germany? Is this evident through the media too? Are civilians scared of Polish "barbarians" who come to Germany and cause trouble? What is causing so much hatred, in Ihrer gebildeten Meinung. Informieren Sie mich bitte, wie Sie fühle. Danke. *Salutes* An der Mühelosigkeit!

I actually envision a good relationship between us (once Poland let's go of old grudges).

Germany is a trader...we build and develop to sell things so we need peaceful, wealthy neighbours who have actually the money to buy our stuff.

That way everybody get's happy and nobody needs to invade anybody for that.

Must go now...my girl is already tapping her dainty foot impatiently....sorry :(

But why shop? Jealousy is the evil that drives wars..! You should know that. That is why the Germans wanted Eastern Europe, and its fertile plains. ; )

May I compliment you on your perfect german!

Actually your motives are really clear and a bit hypocritical...or what was it about not "belittling" someone?

And since the german head of state is an Ossi and even the captain of our beloved football team is an Ossi your argument is really weak!

(These are the most important positions a German can actually reach in his life!)

Thank you, my father taught me some, and I took a German course at University.
And, German is quite important tool in business sector.

I don't think it is just Poles that have an anamosity towards Germans. Germans also share that feeling. But I agree, we should move on to some extent, (but never forget the past), and begin to deal more closely. It would greatly benefit both countries for a strong Polish economy. It will be soon.

Nur wenn Sie kaufen! Please do not poison me. Perhaps we can ally and go against our mutual enemy, the Russians in the East?

I pay for a round! *nods to waitress*

But I wouldn't agree to alienating Russia all the time...I don't see them as our enemy...will wait how they develop first...

No? But Russians are always the instigators. They have not shown any willingness to negotiate with Poles on many fronts.. Maybe this will change after Tusk's visit. I hope it will resolve a few issues, or at least finally set some discussions in motion.

Poland is doing a bad thing, I believe, by not concentrating on European relations with Germany and Russia, and instead causing a disturbance with their talks with the U.S. They should look at the situation at home, before looking to outside. Russians have become quite enraged. Hopefully situation will diffuse.

*heads back to bar*

HALT! Hier zurückgekommen!
You gave me the wrong beer!
