Holiday Calls - any custom to returning a call from a Polish man?

Hi,

Often my male friends from other countries have called me on holidays, including a call from an Australian man on Memorial Day, a holiday when it is not customary to call and greet people in the United States. Although we call close friends and relatives on certain holidays, I think this is done much less often than in other countries. Recently, I recieved a holiday phone call from a Polish man that I had dated - is there any custom to returning this type of call? Does one call back the same day, later on another day, or is a return call not expected? Thank you in advance for your help.

I don't think there's a special custom. But it's always nice to return a call.
