English teacher in Wroclaw looking for a room or flat

Hi,

I'm a native English speaker just starting to work here in Wroclaw and I am looking for a more permanent place to live. I taught in Tarnow before this, so I have been in Poland since November 2009. My last school provided housing, so I am new to the process. I have been looking on gumtree and other sites, but my Polish is still not good enough to really respond to any of the ads.

Any suggestions or help? Anyone with an open room?

Thanks,
Janice Deitner

Hello Janice! Please let me know if you find something. I am also looking for accomodation and would be interested to share with you as I am planning to teach in Wroclaw in a month from now :) I would be glad to help you with your Polish as my mum taught me the language since I was young. I live in Australia and have visited Europe a number of times. I am keen to move to Wroclaw as I have heard there are a few teaching schools there and the weather is nice. Anyhow please let me know if your interested.

Hi Janice,

If you are still looking for a place to live, I have a new fully furnished two-room aparmtent for rent in Wrocław for 1800 PLN per month. The price is low because I'm looking for someone for a longer while (at least one year with the possibility to extend the contract if both sides will be content) who will take a good care of the flat It is located at Ul. Strońska, Wrocław - Krzyki Gaj, in a new housing estate (built in 2008) called Zielona Wyspa (you can google it and see some pics) with a great location (not far from the city center with a good communication and a nearby supermarket and shops). I'm Polish and now I'm studying in Frankfurt am Main, so the best way to contact me is by email: kbaran64@gmail.com. I'll be in Wrocław for a Christmas break from Dec. 12 to Dec. 30. We could meet then. If you would like to see the apartment I can arrange a meeting with my sister who speaks fluent English. Let me know.

Best,
Kasia
