To the OP: be aware that some of these adverts expect you to share the room (not just the flat) with someone else.

A Russian woman told me that when she studied in London for 2 years she rented " a BED" in a 2 bedrooms flat .

The bedrooms had bunk beds and 6 other Russian students were renting a bed and sharing the flat.

Such an irony of fate to come from a country ,the Soviet Union where some people were obliged to live in Communal apartments and experience the same thing in the rich Western world....

My advice is for you to get a flat not too far from your work

When you get to Wroclaw you may also visit some real estate agents

It could mean that the Western world is not rich enough to supply everyone with affordable accommodation.
Btw in the Soviet Union people were not obliged to live in Communal apartments, though many found it a good solution. In Moscow CA were mostly provided to people who moved from other cities. It was a temporarily accommodation. Later these people were given flats for free.
