Sunrisek: In fact yes, I already spoke with my Erasmus coordinator but he didn't say anything I didn't know. It looks like we are suposed to find out things for ourselves.
In my university, our coordinators assist student find accommodation. Most students prefer staying flats rather than dormitories. But If you will stay short term in Warsaw, maybe it can be more expensive.

I intend to go around the middle of September and try to find a place until then. Or a permanent staying in case I won't be accepted in a dorm. well... that's basically that =)
You had better speak some of your friends who came Warsaw before. Because they can give an opinion If you will stay in dorm or not. You can find single room both in dorm and in flat, you will solve this easily. But staying in a flat is a better idea for me. You can find many options on gumtree. Also, you can look for both room or flat, then find flatmate. No worry many international students live in Warsaw.
