hey there,

I'm Miguel, 21 from University of Lisbon, and I'll make part of Erasmus Programming now at September/October... I'll be at University of Warsaw and I'm interested on finding a single room, so if anyone want to help me I appreciate. Apart from a single room I don't have any other preferences. I don't even mind to be far (not too far) from the uni.

Thanks yall ;)

Hey Miguel,

At first you can find some offers here; Housing - Offered

But you must know most of advertisements are put by the rental agencies, it means you are supposed to pay money for rental agencies, too. You will need to pay a deposit, rent money and pay agency fees.

I think your university will help you because you are an Erasmus Student, just ask your coordinator.

OR, Look for this web site, you can find many offers, I think this is the best option for the foreign students who live in Warschau.

By the way, you told 'Single Room.' You mean in dorm or flat ?

hey!

Thanks fo your kind help ;)
In fact yes, I already spoke with my Erasmus coordinator but he didn't say anything I didn't know. It looks like we are suposed to find out things for ourselves.
My question is, I applyed for a dorm already in my application details, but it will only be available (if I'll be an elected student) on October. I intend to go around the middle of September and try to find a place until then. Or a permanent staying in case I won't be accepted in a dorm. well... that's basically that =)

The link you sent me, it hasn't an english translator, right?
When I said single room I meant it's a room just for me, not having to share it with someone else. I meant in a flat but is it also possible to stay in a single room in a dorm?

And thanks for the schedules link as well ;)
(what manners are those at the end ;P)

Regards!

In my university, our coordinators assist student find accommodation. Most students prefer staying flats rather than dormitories. But If you will stay short term in Warsaw, maybe it can be more expensive.

You had better speak some of your friends who came Warsaw before. Because they can give an opinion If you will stay in dorm or not. You can find single room both in dorm and in flat, you will solve this easily. But staying in a flat is a better idea for me. You can find many options on gumtree. Also, you can look for both room or flat, then find flatmate. No worry many international students live in Warsaw.

gumtree

Gumtree is still the best - you can translate the phrases using google translate and one great thing about Gumtree is that you can search for flats/room that are rented privately - so you don't get the hassle of agents trying to push the price up.

Kidding ? If i did not visit or see the website, how would I suggest it ??

Look out quote from his messages !! You are ready to find mistake and make insinuation.

Miguel, I do not know If others agree with me or not, but probably you will have difficulty in Warsaw because of this. Polish is your only language option, like gumtree.pl. You can use it with translate.google. This is not problem you can ask for help.

But, it is certain that you will meet some rude boys. I do not have an answer for it. Just do not care.

I mean in Warsaw, also you may see in here :)

It is certain that you will not have difficulty in here, as many erasmus students and international students come here, and these becoming larger.

As I told you, only look for ads on gumtree, also you can find flat from the owners. One negative point is that this website is only in Polish, but you can ask for help.

300 Euro is nearly 1200 Zloty, you can easily find an acommodation.

This is another website, but you must be member, as well If you want to see all the details it is has a premium membership.

http://www.wspollokator.pl/?l=1 ( This website has different language options )

when you find room dont forget to check the address on jakdojade.pl Try to find one near metro stations :)
