Hi!

I am a female Canadian exchange student studying politics at the University of Warsaw starting in October. I am in Warsaw right now, but am leaving in a week to travel and will return later in September.

I do not smoke and have no pets. I find myself to be pretty funny, and love trying new things. I don't speak Polish but am trying my best to pick it up, and would prefer to live with someone who could help me learn the language but at this point am desperate for a place to stay.

Reply soon and maybe we can meet before I leave again!

Thanks,
Natasha

Hello,

I have a room for rent if you're still interested. It's in the center. The flat was just renovated, the kitchen and the bathroom are new. It has two rooms. The one that I want to rent is 11sqm big, furnished, with wi fi connection. The other room is rented by a german student (girl).
My contact is: olajanczyk@hotmail.com

Cheers!

Canadian Exchange Student in Need of a Room!

Hello!

My name is Natasha, I am a Canadian exchange student studying politics at UW from October to June this year and am in desperate need of a place to live for that time. I don't speak much Polish at all, but am trying as hard as I can to learn it, so would would like to live with Polish-speakers if at all possible to get extra practise. I also speak French and can fumble through Russian if English isn't the household language.

I do not smoke and didn't happen to bring any pets with me from Canada, so no worries there! Other than that, I am on "exchange mode" so am willing to try new things and would jump at the opportunity to travel around the area. I like to think of myself of funny and fun to be around, but I guess that's all up to you...

I was in Warsaw a week or so ago looking for somewhere to stay, but failed miserably and am now traveling around Europe looking for rental properties late into the night. I may be coming through Warsaw again in a week if you would like to meet, otherwise a Skype session can be arranged if necessary. I am well connected to the internet wherever I go with my laptop, so please reply to this post and maybe we can arrange something!\

Thanks and look forward to meeting you!
Natasha

P.S. Maximum rent is 1500 PLN, depending on the room of course!!

Hi Natasha,

I know the feeling you had/have. I flew to Warsaw last week and tried several apartments without any luck. Maybe to high demands or just unknown to the polish renting market. I think I found a nice apartment for a reasonable price. Its a bit higher standard than you usual student place but I think its good value for money.

The apartment is at Jerozolimskie 99. Search it on Google Maps. It just next to the tram, bus, train and metro station. Everything is therefore close by. The apartment is completely renovated at is on the fourth floor with elevator. It has two bedrooms of 16 and 20m2 and a very nice living room of 30m2 with kitchen and balcony. All furniture is new and high speed internet, tv and radio is there. Its a really nice place but it comes with a price. Its 1500 pz or 375 euro a month but that includes all. You don't need to go a zloty over your budget. I'm also paying the same. I don't care which bedroom I'm in so the choice is yours.

We have then our own separate bedrooms but share the living room and bathroom. The bathroom is very nice with massage shower, toilet and sink. Like I said, its very nice and if you're planning to stay for a longer period I think its a very good option. I'll be staying there for minimum of 1 year as I'll start a master at Kozminksi University. I'm a 25 year old dutch student. I'm quiet, clean and sociable.

Unfortunately I don't have pictures or a camera but I like your option of skyping. You can write me an e-mail: k.verduijn@student.maastrichtuniversity.nl or skype: Koen Verduijn.

Looking forward meeting you.

Merged thread:
UW Student looking for a room/flat

Hello!

I am a Canadian exchange student looking for somewhere to live, close to or with good connections to the University of Warsaw. Anything, be it a studio or a room in a shared apartment, is fine as long as it's not too expensive! I move back at the end of June.

Look forward to any help or information!
