Hi,

I would be travelling to Wroclaw with my wife at around 15 Jan 2012, for 3 months. I need to find an apartment for 2 persons near following address:

Office address:

Plac Gen. Jozefa Bema 2
Postal code: 50-265
Wroclaw, Poland

Could you all suggest us some apartment options to stay around this area?
The necessary things required are:

- The apartment should preferably at a walking distance from the office.
- The apartment should be fully furnished.
- Fully furnished kitchen is quite important since we would be cooking by our own.
- Internet connection.

Thanks in advance!! :)

Go to gumtree and have a look at what's available. Find your address on the map and then compare the available flats.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. First of all, what I wish to know is whether people out there in Poland rent their houses/or may be a floor of their house on a lease of a duration of around 3 months?

OR all that I could get are serviced apartments etc. which are being rented on per deim bases?

Thanks!

have a look there to get an idea of prices and locations.
Yes, people do rent houses out.

^^ Rarely for 3 months though.

More hassle than it is worth, really.

you might actually find an apartment in the bema building. it's half business, half apartments.

most property in that area is old blocks.

what is walking distance for you ? 5, 10, 15 minutes ? Rynek is a 10-15 minute walk away.

Forget about walking distance. Just find something close to public transport. The trams are quite good and you can buy monthly passes (rechargeable) that are a good bargain. I was there for 6 months and if the weather was nice, I prefered to walk, but always nice to have the hop-on-and ride option. Enjoy your stay. Wroclaw is a great place...

No, there is no English version of gumtree. At least you can have a look at the photos, see the address and the rent. (use a translating website for individual words)
There are many agencies which can help you, but you have left it a bit late. The best advice is to go into a hotel/hostel for a few days while you find something.
