Hi guys,

I'm a half German half Polish student and almost on my way to my study abroad in Warsaw.

Initially I wanted to cycle to Warsaw but due to the recent weather shifts I might revise this decision.

Anyway, I'd like share a flat with some Polish guys to improve my language skills. Unfortunately I'm really bad when it comes to speaking Polish, though I understand a lot.

Would love to hear from you,

Cheers!

Bobbie, is German then your mother tongue? Ist also Deutsch deine Muttersprache?

You'd probably find it easier comummunicating, i.e. conversing with middle-aged to older Poles in German rather than in (broken) English. While a great many young people prefer English when speaking with foreigners not really fluent in Polish, as I've advised others in your situation, take an inexpensive Polish course, either on-site (vor Ort) or in your own country (or even on line).

Best of luck! Powodzenia! Viel Erfolg!
