How do I make pictures smaller

So I can post them on here? I'm sorry if this question has been repeated as I'm sure I'm not the only one to ask it, but I am fairly new and would love to share some photos with all of you!

Use photobucket. It's easy to use and you'd be able to place your pics here.

Ya regesiter its free, then upload the pic, then copy it.

if its on your comp, you just click profile and upload new avatar and browse through your pics, and then click on the pic you want and upload
