Agree.There are many small chemical labs which produce it in Poland.
The dealing of drugs in the West is done by organized crime and I have never heard of polish mafia.

Szczecin used to be quite a place for that.

There were rumours in the '90s about heavy use of amphetamines among eastern european youth but now I do not see such articles anymore.

Really!...now what is the main ingredient they use for this 'crystal meth'?...meth at one time was really methamphetamine...in America for a long time we had 'biker crank' which was made by cooking p2p, an ingredient used in airplane fuel...but this stuff had to be imported, and it was hard to get into the country...so what you had was a lot of half-assed labs that cooked up the stuff, and usually they didn't have enough p2p to make the crank very potent...then, there was a run of making the suff by cooking up psuedophedrine, the main ingredient of common sinus decongestants, like 'Sudafed'...there was a big run on the chain drug stores to buy this stuff in quantity, and a couple of years ago, Rite Aid, CVS and the other chains stopped selling Sudafed over the counter...
I stopped taking these drugs long ago, but I remember the first time I ever 'shot' speed; it was the real stuff: liquid Desoxyn, real methamphetamine hydrochloride...it was quite an experience...speed is a very stimulating, but ultimately destructive drug...the stuff they make now is probably new poisonous 'brew'...you know, the Germans were always masters of the pharmaceutical world...the Bayer company first made and market Aspirin, heroin (in tablet form, legal in the US until about 1914) and later the National Socialist chemists created the various amphetamines, and synthetic morphines like demerol and methadone...who are the leaders of these 'drug rings'?...any names?...has anyone gotten famous yet?...and are you sure it is really Poles behind this?...or maybe someone else?
