the types that run the BBC. So don't feel bad about the fact that the BBC is biased

No-one can help but be biased. Some people just have less awareness of their bias. I'd say at least the bias of the BBC tends to differ from much of the rest of the media.

The media show ugly women to make people feel good that they look better than them,I show beautiful women to counterbalance the reality.

You do, my friends kids get picked on routinely because they are English, they are told to go back to your Island :)

Also Curtis, not sure on how your geography is but Aus is slightly larger than England, it can absorb more immigrants and it was a British Coloney, so most of the inhabbitants are desendents of British....

One more thing Curt, not any old tom dick or harry can go to Aus either, there is a points system so in general they get people who can add something.

Valid point on the size thing. But I personally think it's the same situation. Australia isn't all "OMG THE ENGLISH ARE COMING!!" like Britian is with Polish (and other european countries).

It appears to be like a national crisis for the UK.

the british and australia share similer langauge and culture for obvious reasons, britain has nothing in common with eastern europeans who have been living as communists for decades. there are poles in my work who have been working for two years and still cant speak english. also the british are not emigrating to australia in hundreds of thousands claiming housing, education, benefits, childcare benifits, nhs etc. etc.

most australians have british relatives.

Lots of Irish as well. How criminal were most of them anyway?

But they have a tendency to have ketchup with roast dinner, but gravy with chips. Or so I've been told.

True, but they were only deported for effectively, political reasons.

You have to remember that the Irish were owned by the English for centuries....mere chattels to be used and abused......

hang on a minute 700,000 poles have emigrated into the uk in the past two years and the figure is likely to be much higher since poles are only counted if they bother to register, and the only poles are counted at airports not seaports.

are you denying mass imigration of poles into the uk has happened. have you been living under a rock the past 2 years.

polish immigration has not stopped they keep coming here in hordes.

what do you mean by @nor have the polish people' why are you blatantly lying

lets put it this way, if there was a referendum on polish immigration. and the public decided to vote wether to let our country be over run by polish toilet cleaners, maids and other talentless, unskilled eastern europeans. what do you think the public would vote for ?

everyday the newspapers and public opinion voices their distain at eastern europeans coming here and I think most poles in britain know it.

that for you ignorant
Population: 43,064,000
British population: 761,000

There are now more Britons living in Spain than in any other European country, aside from the UK, and British embassy staff say the real figure may be three times higher than official estimates. The southern Costa del Sol alone has a shifting British population - not counting tourists - of up to 300,000 people. The influx has been so great that Spanish-based Britons, from the Madrid-based banker or Barcelona designer to the Costa del Sol pensioner, are outnumbered as an immigrant population only by Moroccans, Romanians and Ecuadorians.

are the british over there to clean your toilets, are the british there given priority housing, all forms of benefits, free education, nhs services etc. NO

The british in spain are mainly retired who pump millions of pounds into the economy. The british in spain provide a huge amount of economic support (and pay tax )to spanish towns etc.

The polish in the uk take out 6 billion a year and send it back to poland. not to mention poles get their tax rebated back when they leave.

are the spanish having to spend millions of tax payers money to support them.

the british tax payers is paying tens of millions a month to support these eastern europeans because local councils cannot cope with them.

are the british in spain narrowing the job market for school leavers like the poles are in the uk no.

the situation in britain and spain is far differant you cannot compare. and dont forget that the british are a higher calibre of people than eastern europeans so you should be lucky.
