1. what a load of rubbish this is. LOL a guy who`s parents were immigrants themselves made a documentary about how inconvenient immigration is to the uk. what a hypocrite.

2. some of the people in the programme were children of immigrants as well - even more hypocrisy

3. looks like the programme blames eastern europeans and polish for everything that goes wrong in this country. hold on a sec.... are we the ones plotting terrorist attacks and shooting each other on the streets? soon they`ll blame us for that too.

5. my partner work as a civil engineer (he`s british) and his firm employs a lot of british as well as eastern europeans and poles. he can compare the standard and work ethic of the polish/eastern europeans with that of the british and said to me yesterday after i told him about this programme that they employ eastern europeans becuz the natives` day at work in construction looks something like this:

- turn up to work late (if at all),
- walk up and down the street,
- pop to the local cafe for a cup of tea at least 5 times a day,
- have a ciggy break every hour,
- ask for a pay rise.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, GET YOUR GEOGRAPHY RIGHT - POLAND IS CENTRAL, NOT EASTERN EUROPE (aaah the standard of education in the uk, just brilliant)

I agree 100%. In the office I work there are polish as well as english people. It`s just amazing to see the difference of behaviour of each one. English people go out for a cigarret every 5 min, their lunch hour is 1 and a half hour, they call sick at least twice a month, if they have kids it is even more often, they come late and are the first to go home ( at 17.30 they are not at their desk anymore). Meanwhile, polish people just get off of their desks to go to the toilet if at all.

Funniest post in a while. English people on average smoke over 90 cigarettes in a working day and Poles are so hardworking they defacate at their desks. Amazing stuff.

Not to mention the poles who take a break from cleaning to have sex with the vacum cleaner.
