I wonder what is a commission of a Polish agent selling a property in Poland. Is it about 3% like in the US, fixed?

The commission is 3% + 22%Vat. It can be negotiated sometimes, maybe you will get 2.5%.

You may negotiate as little as 2% or even less.

i dont think it is right that both vendor and purchaser should pay the agent

could you offer a justification for this please

The system in Poland from what I can ascertain is a bit different from that in the States. Both seller and buyer have to pay their respective agents for property transactions as well as leasing.

I find this a bit unfair as I am used to the methods in the states, but like all things in real estate, it can be negotiated.

I am also interested in real estate in Poland.
