Anansi,

don't be scared. If you do business in Poland, you go to civilised, cosmopolitan places. Probably you'll never visit small towns and villages where people are xenophobic and have never seen foreigners, therefore fear them. If you look at the forum I'm sure you''l be able to find positive things noticed by both Poles and foreigners.

Best of luck

Hey there everyone,
A "warm" and a happy new year to all of you.I must apologise for my absence from this forum since last one month.I was having some exams and presentations in my specialisation.Well, someone commented something about medical education in India.True, in case of Medicines and education,India is doing pretty good at present and with lot of pharmaceutical conglomerates coming up, India is flourishing with this industry, especially my state (gujarat). I am studying in Medicinal Chemistry as my masters specialisation and yet, I will not like to go back to India for my masters. The reason is that I am better suited to this mode of education than that.So I prefer this.Being an Indian, I really felt a hearty welcome of Poles when I landed in Wroclaw. To tell you people the extent, one of my classmates just walked down the street with me and taught me how to buy a ticket for the bus and to look up for a bus on the time table. In the smallest minuteae needed for making a living and surviving in a foreign country( this being my first venture abroad), I am happy that I chose Poland over any other country.I am in favour of ideas of migration and mixing of cultures. This helps us to rediscover the long forgotten strands of a different side of our own race-"humanity".We, before everything else, are humans, countries and their borders were made by some people to segregate all the others.About the history of Poland and what it has suffered through, I admit that it cannot be forgotten and yet, I am amazed at the hospitality Poles show to Russians and Germans and all others. In my dormitory, I have Russian people who are just like common people and freinds to all here.I must say that living in this dormitory as a student, I discovered what an International community truly means and you might be surprised to see the diversity, Indians, Vietnamese, Poles, Russians, Romanians,Belarus,American,Germans, Spanish,French, Chinese,Kazakistan,Belgium and so on.
Well, too long a message induces sleepiness in forum. So I will end here.In case any Indian or Polish person wants to contact me, my email address is simplynimish@gmail.com Hey sudheer, give me your email address please.

Regards to everyone,
Nimish

In hindi desh means the motherland... Desi means anyone from the same country...

Hence I understand Riya was looking for some Indians, to help her with something..

If not search shilpa+big brother in google...

Hey Raj,
Where are you from? Gujarat I suppose.I am already doing my masters in medicinal chemistry over here.We have some Indians over here as well although the Indian community in Poland might be negligible as compared to that of USA or UK.For details of the course and so on, I can help you. But if you want to enquire about the way of living and the way you will be treated after coming here, its simply the conversation on this forum that might help you. Still, you can ask any Indian about it in this forum.

Nimish.

Of course,
when it comes to architectural beauty and a legacy of historical monuments, Krakow is the best. However, it is better for a student to live in Wroclaw rather than Krakow.Several reasons came to my notice.

wroclaw is almost two times cheaper than Krakow.
wroclaw is smaller and more peaceful. Also, the transportation becomes easier in wroclaw.
Wroclaw is developing very fastly, meaning the job opportunities n future will be abound.
Also, people of "Dolnoslaska" are more tolerant than other parts of Poland. It is not my decision. This is what I heard and experienced when I was in Krakow for two days.Although it will not be wise enough to form an opinion in two days.

Nobody said it was...

If you read the topic title, it's Indian moved to PL and PL schools were in discussion. I'm not sure where you were trying to go with the middle east comment since it has nothing to do with...well, anything Sounds like you're trolling to me

Listen pipp sqweek who elected you moderator? and who are you to say anything? I asked a simple question. Which clearly wasen't directed at you. Who cares what it sounds like to you. Mind your own damn business and awsner questions when they are directed to you. The user awnsered the question just fine.

HI Everyone,
I am an indian and regularly travel to Wroclaw as my wife is polish and her parents live there. I would love to meet Indians in Wroclaw. I am travelling for easter next and will be there for a week or so. I hope i will be able to catch up with some of you out there. I would love to see one day some kind of Indian restaurant as that is my profession here in the UK, I run restaurants and am a former chef.

Hello Everyone,
Sorry once again for me being away from this forum.Something makes me come back.Anyways, Davidpeake, I would love to be a part of an Indian restaurant. This is really amazing.I love cooking and I would like to see something Indian out here.
Ruba, "We need a balance quality of Indians with some cowboys in Poland." What did u mean by that? If its something good or interesting, I am in.

Arturszastak:- you might have got it wrong that most hindi people are buddhists. As a matter of fact, majority of them are Hindus. But in India(where hindis have their abodes), we have all the religions of the world mingling with each other like Hindus, Muslims, Christians,Parsis,Buddhists, Jains, atheists(if u can call it a religion at all) and so on.The number is huge and this is one of the reasons that makes India such a diverse and amazing place. All the religions and cultures mingling in and yet living in peace and satisfaction( except for some wrongly provoked instances).India is unique in this matter.About Buddhist Temples,I am sorry but there is none in wroclaw as far as I know. However, there is an Isckon Temple( a Hindu one precisely speaking) in Wroclaw and I can give you the address if you want to.

Rishi:- I would love to meet you and other Indians as well. Please let me know about your exact schedule and I am in for a nice time together. My email address is simplynimish@gmail.com.

Thats all for this time.Take care all of you and have a gala time in life.
