Hey there Natasha,
Hi I am nimish here.I am from Gujarat Baroda.I am 21 years old(and u could add some more days as well).I am studying my masters over here in Medicinal Chemistry. Its really good to see some Indian in this part of the world.Well, I have a lot of different hobbies out of which, learning languages is my all time favourite.I am also interested in religons, cultures, traditions, making friends, studying physics, partying of course, numismatics and philately and discovering nature.I will be here for two years for my masters and the I am planning for my PhD but I do not exactly know where.I am a scorpio as per the lunar calendar and I resemble scorpions in almost all the cases, but my sun sign is virgo, although i never felt like being a virgo. I am more of a scorpion than a vigo.I am just starting to learn Polish and its only 2 months that I have spent in this country and I must add, the people here are really very nice to me.I plan to make a career in research in Physics. All for this time.Talk to u soon.

H iNatasha,

I'm Polish and married to and Indian guy. I find Polish and Indian culture combination very interesting. Do you speak Urdu and Polish? What language did your parents speak to you? Would you consider yourself more Polish or Indian? Which culture was practiced more in your home? I have many questions since I guess I can relate to you. :)

Hi Magda,

I just checked out your profile. I'm from Ontario, Canada also. I've been married for 3 years and only recently found out that I'm pregant. I'm so excited and can't wait. Also, I'm very courious what the baby would look like, more Polish or more Indian. I saw your son's picture and he does look white. However, I also have another friend who's married to an Indian guy and her son who is about 10 now looks more like arabic. He is fair and has black hair and brown eyes. So, I guess it's hard to say and it depends on the case. I also wanted to ask if you speak to your son in Polish, teach him Polish? Did you preserve polish culture at home? If yes then how? These are the issues that come up when I think about raising kids. How will I preserve the Polish culture as well as Indian culture?

hi moniza78, nice to know you :) ... why don't you put your picture ? it will be interesting to see you.

my son have facial feature of indian, but color which is not very very white, but easily can be taken as white boy! something like italian. But more handsome :)

yes, it depends on case, i have on girl from france and she married a man from bombay, their child is 13 and he looks exactly like his father, just color fairer (hair is black) , his eye is blue however. They also have daughter who got curly hair and hazel eye, also fairer. Usually they are fairer, they have somekind of south european kind of color (greek, italian)..

anyways... how come it matters :D , they all look cute and handsome.

i talk with my son in polish, as that is what i know best. My home follows no particular culture... we celebrate everyday, and also christmas, the rakhi! .. it is common life with me. We have normal family, he is wonderful, i find simple life more suitable to me, and my children are growing up healthy. That is our primary culture... i cannot say about anything particular. and I am happy about it...the important thing is manner, behaviour, healthy mind and soul... Such children i think are global...they have arms which are all accepting...because they are the new world :) , you cannot compare with the old world- with them!

anyway....SO POST UR PIC :)

Hi Natasha,

My wife is 100% Cambodian and we have a son who is 3 1/2 yrsold. I brought my wife to Poland in 2002 and she LOVED it. Picked up polish fast (the basics) and really enjoyed the food. We are looking to go back next year.

Hi Natasha

Magda I agree with you -- they are all beautiful.!
when my daughter was born everyone in poland was curious as to what she looked like. My husband is black so my daughter is 50% polish and 50% americanWhen she was younger she was fair (more spanish) now it depends on the season summer she is dark with blond & red highlights in brown hair

I will try & post a pic. You & your husband make a very nice pair -- he is handsome & your boy is adorable
