Instead of praying for the sick, why don't the babcie help them?

I am uttery bemused by the number of babcie who are willing to spend hours in church, but won't lift a muscle to actually do anything for the needy. Has the civil society not yet arrived in Poland?

Maybe many of them have their own infirms and can use help themselves.....maybe they spend hours in church praying the could help more people in a manner in which perhaps they could have when they were younger.

Sounds to me like someone is feeling sorry for themself and is ticked off at grandma for not helping out.
