The problem with talking about it on here is that established companies will take your good ideas and then leave you out in the cold.

One of the first things you need is a web-site... the second is contacts.

By the sounds of it you have not been involved in this line of business before, I had an office in the Czech republic ( Prague ) which is still ongoing and the one in Opole we decided to close after 6 months as there are many many many recruitment agencies in this area alone never mind the rest of Poland. We decided then just to use the local job centres in Poland, it was free and they let us use their excellent facilities and staff for Interviewing purposes. I think if you are serious about this you would need to work on the medical and dental sectors, however you will need to know your stuff in order for the candidates and clients to take you seriously. I have been in the recruitment business for 16 years and I wouldn't set up an agency in Poland as I think the return is quite minimal. Should have started your business 5 years ago.

Thats an extremely competitive market, i know many people in the same industry... established companies with years of experience and they are all finding ever increasing difficulties in sourcing the professionals/workers. In my opinion its about two years too late to earn a decent crust from that line of business.

Personally i wish I started that business back in 2002, id be a millionaire by now.

Good to find partners here.
If you guys have contacts with polish employers we can sure cooperate.
Now season started and they need a lot of construction guys, sewers, workers to meat factories and welders.
We can make any number (200-300-500 etc) very fast and every nationality you want.
About 5 years on this market. Interested please write to worklink@bk.ru or call +38 097 400 6937. Andrew.

My thoughts exactly. I looked at setting up one a few years ago - really glad that I didn't.

I'd put that the other way around... contacts first and then a website further down the list of priorities. Canny recruitment types are out there meeting people all the time, and are generally good networkers and get a lot of work based on referals.

(I'm talking about foreign labor to Poland stuff)

We just start sending workers to Poland and I can tell - first of all contacts are in priority. When 1 company sees that chinese or whatever working good and company doesnt have no problems with it, they will make a line to get same workers.
And everything goes very fast now - consulate in different countries issues working visas fast - employer calls to consulate and everything goes smooth - because eveybody understand the situation.
Now with London olimpics we will have a lot of work to do....
We don't have time to sleep now because of much work, I dont know why people say that this business they should started 2 years ago and now it's not profitable. If you can convince employer that you will bring him 50 good workers in 1 week after work permits are issued - you will get your money.

Website is not of a big importance here. Many Polish employers don't even have a PC or can't use it. What you need is communicating skills - because this is something new to Poland - workers from Filippines at meat factory for example. But now is time that it starts - and who will be the first one to get the wave - will get enough of money.

So - we need to get together and work! I wait for those who interested.

yes - familiar problems.. but we deal with companies who make permits very fast - I dont know by what means:)
we pay for that - so they have some reason to work as fast as they can:)
