Native English speaker with fluent Polish. All Polish paperwork/permits sorted. Excellent communication/people skills. Very good local knowledge and contacts. Previously employed as lecturer in higher education in the UK. Last ditch attempt at finding a job in Poland or shall be leaving in March.
Not being rude but I beg you guys, no more advice about teaching English or the super opportunities offered by IT positions in Poland!
Thanks

Since I'm losing faith in this thread I was just wondering has anyone actually found a job in Poland via the forums? Actually am starting to wonder if anyone has ever found a job via the internet? Recently I've been applying for loads of jobs via the net (not just in Poland) and have not received a single reply from any prospective employer.

Would you hire someone you knew only as finT, cyg or zion? I've been in Poland for 12 years, and every single job I ever got (and there have been a few) has been through personal connections.
FWIW, many legal firms are looking for people like you to proofread their documents. Try Lovells, CMS Cameron McKenna, Weil or the other big ones in Warsaw. They'll usually ask for legal experience, but most will take people without it. It's an employee's market out there - you just don't have that many native speakers of English in Poland who can a) edit their way out of a paper bag and b) compare docs against Polish originals. Expect long hours and a hectic/permanently panic-stricken atmosphere, but also pay to reward you some of the inconvenience.
