Express your feeling toward Russian as nation with maximum honesty. You shouldn't be political correct, so you most intimate hostility toward this nation are welcomed in this tread. Please describe your feelings with maximum deitails. Or may be you have a feeling that Russians are the most pperfect and God elected nation, who knows maybe we have such persons too! You are welcomed too, with your expressions.

Forsome reason, I don't like the nation as a whole. The few russian people that I associate with are cool but I still have that WWII attitute towards the traitors, ohh I mean Russia lol

As an Englishman i was brought up to believe that the Russian were a nation of devils who were just waiting to destroy us all in a nuclear blast...I spent nine years as a soldier , ready to fight against the red enemy over the water.....Things changed a lot when i found myself leading a convoy of Landrovers to Belarus and Russia to help the children of Chernobyl.....I met so many Belarussian and Russian who became friends for life , so many good people who made my visit very special.....I have a special love for Russia and its people , and want very much to return there soon......I now live and work in Poland , another enemy in the cold war days , and have so many great friends here.....Before you make a judgement about any country , go there , meet the people...its people that make a country , not politics or government....

hate their government, no feeling either way about the people except i am discussed that they find their government to be 'normal.' it is not and it doesn't really have the best interests of russian people as it's main goal.

I don't have a problem with Russian people. I have a few Russian friends and they are all fine people. Some are ashamed of their country, others are blissfully arrogant of the crimes she has committed, and others are needlessly arrogant, but what country does not have these kinds of people. I don't have a problem with Russians, I have a problem with RUSSIA, what she stands for, her history, her present, her future. For a thousand years the worst of the Russian people have risen to the top of their government and sullied her name, always wanting and grabbing and taking and doing whatever they please. Ugh. Being an American, I know that might sound like the pot calling the kettle black but until recently when Americans called themselves liberators, you could believe it. Never so with Russia.

Of course the best interest of Russians is not their priority but please show me countries where politicians behave otherwise. Putin was much better than Yeltsin for Russian people but previously western media did not yelled about it, when oligarchs robbed this country. What is more they announced those band of criminals to be victims! Ignorance or hypocrisy?

From personal experience I never had much of problems to deal with Russians, except few retarded internet trolls.

Poles are not Russophobes ... we know that Russian people have no influence on your politics. Poles don't like Russian state not people.

ConstantinK, I know some Russians, you are much difrerent than we are ... there is no hate. We understand that your vision of history is much different than our. Last time you started to admit that in some cases we are right ... when it comes to people not history I see that there is no hate.

Ok I will give for forum users how to deal with Russians ;)
Russians feel that their achievemnts in culture are underestimated on world, so it is enought to say something good about their litereture, art, poetry ... and Russian is yours ;-) (you see ConstatnineK I know Russians ;) )

Honestly I odn't hate Russians, other fact is that we have true problems with Russians state ... and we deal with Russia how we can.

I would say that person with superior feeling is not so easy to manipulate by using flatters. Ok lets leave it ;-)

So you assume that Poles hate Russians and you ask a leading question to prove your point. Very interesting.
In fact most Poles have some vestigal fear of the Russian state, but on a human level I haven't known anyone who would say that he/she hates Russians.
BTW, on the same note, how deep is your Polonophobia? :-)

Well, I hardly could say that I don't like Poland and Poles, but I can assert firmly that Poles have alot in their national character which is abhorrent for me.

1. arrogance
2. thoughtlessness
3. quarrelsomeness
4. pugnacity
5. vainglory

and so on

How many Poles have you actually met?

BTW, judging by your list, Poles and Russians have a lot in common. :-P

I am saying here not about sombody but about national character as whole.

Are you joking? Where did you see arrogant or thouhtless Russian? We hardly were able to build such multy cutural state if we would have such character as Poles.

You should goto St Petersburg.
Its a Wonderful place.
The Architecture is stunning. Especially the monument. And the palace.

The people are warm and friendly.
And not at all like you see on Tv.
Of course there are a few odd characters. But no different than any other country.

I had a holiday there. And loved every minite of it.

It certainly is not Polish character. Building a multi cultural state by conquest, oppression, intimidation fear and plain aggression, I hardly call this an achievement but it is in a true Russian character.
