Well, I know many things from the history of Byzantine empire, actually I am practicising in lerning of history of late roman empire, so I even have read Procopius from Cesarea and even more - Ammianus Marcelinus. Once I thought to begin studying Latin language, but after that thought that English is enough.

Study greek instead.Classic greek,hellenistic greek,medieval greek,new greek.The language with the largest vocabulary in the world.

Unfortunatelly I am just restricted by my IQ level which is limited only on English (thanx for my parents :-( ).

For me personally this is definitely one of the finest documentaries ever. Unbelievable how much history repeats itself, so many similarities with present happenings it's absolutely unbelievable.

This documentary is a must see for all those who maybe did not know enough of Byzantium.

Yes, I saw this film, literally this art arose alot of disputes in russian society. As for me, I suppose that very much of it is a strained parallel between russian and byzantin histories. It has too much of propopoganda in it, though all facts are correct.

What is your authority for this statement? At this point English is nearly at one million words according to Oxford Dictionary.
