i don`t have problem with past. past is past and as economist i can tell you that examination of past has sense only if past serve to future.

My past is my past. I seek to know about past of my family, my people, my Slavic civilization. Slavic children should learn about Slavic past because it is important to preserve its own identity and resist to assimilation.

But sometimes you seem to have a problem with MY past. It's not even my past. I'm not saying you're the only one, but hey let's dig up what someone's country once did AND GOT OVER and accuse its citizens of today as being just as culpable as those who came before them.

However, you also have a problem with how most of the world sees Serbia. I'd like to look at Serbia as the place where some rather fine European jazz music came from, but there seems to be so much more negative stuff that certain individuals bang on and on about, so that a fair view of the country is hard to invisage.

Russians? We have one or two at work, only they are Lithuanian Russians working in the UK, so I get little more than a bit of work and a lot of the coarser side of the Russian language from them.

My intimate feelings toward Russia? There is a conflict of interests between our two countries. Stronger position of Poland will obviosly weaken Russias position in Eastern Europe. No hard feelings of course. :)

Do you know where can lead me, my knowladge about past (it gave me few ideas)? Well, if i have more money i can form new bussines under name- TRANS SARMATIA, transport company across the whole Slavic world.

If that become reality i can do even more for popularisation of Slavic heritage, Slavic bussines, Slavic interests, my interests. Practicaly, speaking about Slavic past I invest in future. Do you understand now?

Don`t blame me because of political involvement in science (political consequences of some facts). I believe that people who abandened Slavdom (Germans for instance) have problems within themselves. Of course, that `stories` of German governmant/scholars (about great German nation) looks prity rediculous to those Germans (not only to them) who knows fact about their Slavic past. Sure that German governmant don`t have interests that Slavic past becomes well known. But, its not my problem, its THEIR problem. THEY, after all, created problem and they still push things in same dirrection. Probably, with some new fascism, they would try to solwe problems which would bring future. Then, they would blame past, no matter that would try to invent German past.

Germans are not Slavs Crow.Maybe eastern Germans are an exception but this is largely due to 1945 -1946 events.

that`s my point. Eastern Germans (minimum) are Slavs by origin and it is public secret in Germany, in Slavic countries and in whole Europe and world. Everybody knows that, everybody knows how comes to that but it is taboo. Anyway, German inteligentsia don`t have problem to BS all kind of greater German propaganda and that include stupidity that Germans directly descending from Germanics and that Germans are Aryans.

Anyway Kostia, the interests you study here are beyond my grasp. What's the purpose of all your posts? Do you probably facilitate propagation of Russian Government’s hatemongering? If so, you do your job perfect. At least I’ve never seen or heard of such hatred towards everything non-Russian and to Russians who like anything non-Russian in our media. You should have posted your picture and biography so that all people may know where such fellows are brought up… and if you fly right then putin will probably reward you with the order of first level witch-hunting.

that was only plus to their Slavic genetics. They were Slavs by origin much before they had wild sex with Russian soldiers and Serbians who were prisoners in Germany during WWII.

My mother old me when I was 14 that I would never be allowed to date a Russian after what they did to the Poles and after Stalin ordered the massacre of 20,000 Poles in 1940. Her father couldn't go home because of their stranglehold on Poland. She realises that all Russians weren't involved, naturally, but she still maintains her stance.
