My name is Irene, but my mom and dad used to call me Irka. I was born and raised in Canada but both my parents were from Poland.
I came upon this website and thought that this would be a good place to try and reconnect with my Polish background.
I used to speak Polish to my parents but since they both passed away several years ago my Polish has been fading.
