As a gold member I have "who's online" at the bottom of my screen.
It may seem like I am online all the time... This is just an illusion. I am in fact working right now...

good point. (phew embarrasment spared)

I was thinking about becoming a gold member. I've gotten alot from this site in terms of my learning of Polish. I never knew there were other features except the footer and the golden sign.

Now that it's not $2 to the pound it's not quite such good value... but still relatively cheap

Confession will always be open for those that are truely sorry and have some juicy gossip.

I thought you were going away for a while. To whom must you confess?

I might think about having a name day. People do call me by the Polish equivalent of my name ("Donkek?" I hear you ask.) My name is a secret here on PF. Only me and about two dozen other members know what it is, and I might have been lying to them as well... time to confess, eh?

Seeing as this is a Christian thing and that most animals are excluded from mainstream religion, I assume probably not. I, however, have been confirmed, although I feel a bit left out because I didn't get a new name at my confirmation. I only got a new name when I joined PF.

No, I'm most certainly not a spider <I'm petrified of them> but I was thinking of all the spiders, wasps, flies etc that I have killed in my lifetime and to think they all might have had name days. It's making me really upset to think about it now. So I really, really hope they don't have name days cos then I wouldn't feel so bad :)

Maybe this ought to be reported on the confessions thread :)

I think most people in Poland celebrate Jan's Name Day on June, 24th (because some links to John the Baptist celebrations in the Church), so that's probably when you can expect "wszystkiego najlepszego" wishes from other people.

i dont think you need to have a name day to get drunk! Still, its a nice excuse.. I had a nameday party recently for my bf. I wanted to get a cake, but he said it wasnt the thing to do, only lot of drinking and other food. Anyway, Im looking forward to celebrating my new day next week. Anything else I should know in order to do it properly.

I am away, well yeah I am here of course but away from where I was. hhhmmm, Infact I am always here no matter where here is, I am never ever there.
Bet you wish I was really away from any digital device now.
I will be back soon, if I am not already? which begs the question, did I ever leave? or is it even possible? few have tried but many have failed, you do the math.
