Is it safe to take a train in Poland?

I still can't get over the fact that the toilets on the trains flush directly onto the tracks- turd and all! LOL -_-

I'm an American grandmother and I rode trains in Poland this past summer by myself, day trains only, and 2nd class only -- and never encountered anything but thoughtful, courteous, and helpful Polish people.

And about the above comment where Polish train toilet flush, it's the same place as the rest of the world!

I rode a wonderful train from Warsaw to Wloszczowa last May. Fast, clean, great beverage service (expensive, ouch) and employing cute, humorous conductors. What does also anybody need?

Lori I am glad to read your message. I hope people will help me get my case on and off the trains, which I find difficult at times.

UK trains flush turds onto the track, too. I left one near London Victoria on Friday night. LOL.
