haha....your boss would be proud Sandrino

anyway, i live in the US, i have 100% Polish blood in my veins and was raised the Polish way (with a wooden spoon, belt, slipper, anything my mom and dad can get their hands on )

i have a couple of Italian friends here in Erie,PA. its like Italians and Poles were meant to be friends. Me and these 2 guys in our highschool are simply known as the 3 Stooges, Musketeers, etc. the teachers all love us and all the kids think we should be comedians (i'll stick with goin to the airforce)

but man, we have got to be the closest friends ever. 2 Degos and a Polak (no offense Italians, its just what i call them and they laugh it off---of course i'm the Polak

dego (DAY-GO) means dirty Italian, its actually an insult to most Italians, but my friends and i insult each other all the time, makes us laugh, have good times, etc.

I think It's something that was made up in the US as a derrogatory word for Italian (not necessarily dirty....don't know where that came from) that isn't asssimilated into anglo American culture. There's a wiki on it.
