What kind of contract are you offering?
necramancer2010  Oct 9, 10, 20:59    #3
No contract. It's just to teach my wife her dad and one other student in Konstancin.

Roughly 4 - 6 hours a week.

Sorry should have been more specific.

So you're paying cash in hand, which is illegal in Poland as you should well know.

Someone needs to repost that awful "English" teacher video from last year, which some of you may remember!

Delph.

I am not employing this teacher. This teacher will only be teaching my family.

I will pay this person from my own pocket, not from the pockets of others.

It's the teachers or schools responsibility to pay there own taxes etc.

Ah, the one who was clearly someone who was trained by Christopher Bradbury of Angol English School?

:)

"laaas monf"

You've posted "Angol English School - looking for Spanish teacher" (note the dreadful grammar, not what you'd expect from a school owner!). That suggests that Angol English School, owned by Christopher Bradbury, is looking for an English teacher. You've now admitted that you'll be paying them cash in hand - now, anyone familiar with Polish employment law knows that the employer has the duty to pay the tax owed directly to the Urzad Skarbowy. I imagine teaching Spanish will fall under exactly the same PKD code as teaching English - 85.11.A (or is it D? I can never remember) - which means that you have the obligation to deduct the taxes and issue a proper contract.

Doesn't matter. The employment will fall under your PKD code and thus you have the obligation to issue a proper contract.

Wrong. It's your responsibility to deduct the taxes at source. Yet another example of terrible business practice from Christopher Bradbury, owner of Angol English School - you really ought to stick to entertaining sheiks!

(I won't even comment on the unimaginable stupidity of publicly declaring on a forum that you intend to help someone commit tax evasion)

Do you really charge people for English lessons?

I feel like I just opened a new can of worms, lol.

It's not even for me. It's for my wife and her dad. I shall let them know.

This is a forum guys not an interrogation, please lighten up a bit. You could
just give me friendly advice.

An English teacher who doesn't realise that it's actually "to pay their own taxes".

hehe :)

Just watched that video ''Jesus'' awful.

I don't employ foreign teachers and the quality of every lesson
is excellent. We give our students everything they need to
move forward with their English.

And if you want Delph you can come and see for yourself. I have
nothing to hide.

Horror. And the sad thing is that some of these places are charging people for their services.
