It is a culinary and social disaster that an Indian restaurant is being set up in Poznan.

Hey, it's my local Indian!

I must admit, I never gave them a chance to survive - so it's great to read that they're still going strong. The food's quite good as well ;)

Must admit though - employing a Polish chef is not the way forward :(

Indian cook urgently needed in Poznan!

I would say that's a f**king understatement, have just suffered the worst Indian ever from this place. I used to order a lot from here, tonight was my first time in months and what a mess. I want to explain why it was so bad but frankly words are eluding me right now. I guess it's my own fault anyone who orders food from a place advertising urgently for a chef should hear the alarm bells ringing. But f**ck me it was bad!

It's in Os. Czecha - quite close to the tram stop.

Are you sure you need Indian cook? I heard all the Indian restaurants in UK are actually run by Bangladesh cooks and owners! Only the name is Indian "selling the Indian exotic image". If this is true, maybe you are not looking at the right place.

I wish you come up with the right cook and regain your taste ... otherwise it is a very sad prospect that one of the few of such restaurants will be closed due to angry customers :( ...

Sorry, but this is the work of an obvious troll.

How do I know?

Indian Ocean is run from a small kiosk in Os. Czecha - it's not a restaurant as such, and it only has one small table for people to sit there while waiting for food. You certainly wouldn't meet your family, or go there for "a nice evening".

Actually that's very true. The Indian restaurants here in Wroclaw are doing very well.

One thing I loved was a chicken jhfr smth... loved it when I had the good fortune of eating it in the UK. It was a Bangladesh man ... and I was told that most of the restaurants have Indian name but bangladesh cooks make the food and own the restaurants. They sell the exotic brand of India, however complained that India forgot its exoticness, and the neighboring countries maintain the traditions more strongly.

Well whatever he said good or bad ... right or wrong ... was a nice person with magical food :)

Bangladeshis and Indians don't get along, remember Bangladesh, which was formerly East Pakistan and Pakistan were only formed after the British left India. I have a friend from Southern India who has a poor opinion of Northern Indians, he includes Pakistanis and Bangladeshis in that group. It's the usual rivalry you get among neighbours throughout the world

For fan's of Indian food you really can't do better than Taj India in Poznan - the place is run by actual Indian's from Punjab, the location is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. I couldn't recommend this place enough - and that's coming from an Indian student.

Pakestan and Bangladesh are two different countries. While I know Pakistan is on north of India, I think your friend is very silly to think bangladesh is on the north too. Infact it is on the east of India.

I've been in that country and truly a bunch of really nice people!

It's North East, my friend is from Kerala, which is Southern India, he does know his own country you know and Bangladesh was originally called East Pakistan after partition, it's what was the Bengal region of North East India
