Are you wanting a Polish person because their English may be better than yours..or because you think they will work for much less money than an English person...?

Or maybe he wants someone who speaks Polish who can handle Polish speaking clients?

Don't think I'd ever bother applying for a job from someone who couldn't even be bothered to type the terribly long word "you" though. :p

claims business

Ah the claims business. I got stung by one of these companies before for "whiplash". Some tool crashed into the side of my motor in a parking lot(at 10 mph). No damage caused to either car, just a small dent. We agreed to leave it as if we claimed, our no claims bonus would be lost. Three weeks later I got a letter from these scammers looking for cash for the "injured party". Delightful people.

Are the Poles getting in on the scam? Becoming more British than the British themselves!

Following the American example, personally I think courts should get stricter and impliment a "common sense" rule.

Example a) On an advert I saw back home a woman got 5000 pound from the council because she tripped over an uneven paving slab. If I were the judge: "Watch where you're going in future ya daft bint!"

Since when have spelling mistakes and textspeak been "best possible shorter format"?

And you should be aware that specifying a nationality in a job advertisement is usually illegal. Should I refer the original post (with contact details) to the Equal Opportunities Commission or not? Suggestions welcome.

It probably took her about 10 years to get it! Also unless the pavement has been reported and not repaired, the person has little chance of gaining financially.

parking lot

Did you mean car park? (too many American films me thinks!)

Bit of advice, never walk away from an accident without taking details..

The law is the law. In the UK at any rate. Spcifying that a job is for a particular nationality is very illegal. Shame you have no respect for that.

Talking of which, have you paid your share of the EU subsidies back yet. As you promised to. You'd better hurry up instead of trolling and flaming in the jobs offered section, while there's still an EU to pay. Mind you, Poland is supporting fiscal submission so you at least have some time left.

Check the quotes on the Royal Mail's "Christmas jobs" section - apparently, even teachers think that £6.08 an hour is "good money"! :D

Probably written by the same PR company who writes all that "I've lived on the Stonebridge Estate for 18 months now and I think it's lovely, the neighbours are really friendly too, my flat was a bargain!" nonsense on Upmystreet. LOL :)

Ha! That explains why they haven't got time to fix their online postage service - you know, the one they have been "working hard to fix... as quickly as possible" for the last three weeks. Aren't monopolies great? :D

That's obviously what they mean by their "online pricing tool" - yeah, that's just what I'd call him as well! lol

Perhaps without the 'pricing', yes :)
