Hi

I'm looking for a one-to-one Polish tutor to spend an hour or so each week (preferably a Saturday morning) helping me to develop conversational/tourist Polish.

I recently visited Poland and I'm keen to improve my listening and speaking skills. I completed a 10-week beginners' course two years ago so I'm familiar with basic pronunciation etc, but seem to have forgotten lots of vocabulary!

I'm based in Leigh-on-Sea and would ideally like to meet up at a nearby cafe. I'm happy to pay £25 an hour.

Please get in touch if you'd lie to discuss in more detail.

Best wishes

James Gray

£25 an hour? I would have thought £10 - £15 max would be a fair price. That's what I paid a year or two ago.

For an hour or two per week? I would say it's a fair price. Esp. if the tutor would have to actually travel to Leigh on Sea for the lessons.

Hi I am Polish teacher and I just want to say that it is fair price and hope you will get good teacher. Gyus :SzwedwPolsce" and "kie" probablly you live in Poland so you think that it is a lot, in Poland it's a lots of teahcers so prices are low but belive me I am a teacher and I am not happy with 10-15 £, of course sometimes I am working for those money but I am not happy and trying to do it as easy as possible even I respect my students and like them but ... if you want to prepar good lesson you have to spent 2 h and after that 1 h with student ex. Would you like to work for 5 £ ??? Think before you will say that 25 is a lot.

Now I get job for 30 £ per h and it is very fair, i have motivation to work, prepar lesson etc.

If you want to have a good, happy teacher you will not get it for 5 £.

Hope igray you will get good tutor cos you seems to be fair person.

All best.

No, I am in england. I started paying £10 an hour and then this rose to £15 an hour. I have been quoted a similar price by another tutor as well. I travelled to my tutors location though.

It's definately the best way to learn however, especially in the early days of your learning.

Good luck!
