cześc Wszyscy!

I have just started to learn Polish and so far I am really enjoying it, but its early yet and I know, erm, trochę(?) I am English, male and enjoy drinking Tea.

I have always had an interest in languages but have been too lazy to learn, of course my motivation this time is female, but a kick in the butt is the same no matter where it comes from right?

I'm not seeing her anymore but really took to this, I have been using Pimsleur audio on my i-Pod, 12 hour boring shifts at work mean I get plenty of time to listen, although I get some funny looks from my work-friends as I loudly repeat various phrases.

I will be trying other methods too, such as Rosetta stone, but I also want to learn about the culture and traditions. I am a keen lover of Music so I am hoping to explore there too. If anyone can recommend anything I would be greatful.
You will find my usual music tastes here.

After searching and attempting to use various translation/dictionary sites I believe I have finally found what I was looking for, this place has everything!
I hope in time I can become a more valuable member and eventually help out those like me now, just beginning to learn anew, be it Polish or English.

I'm having a little trouble with the Avatars right now, I cut my pic down, reduced the resolution but it still will not load, any ideas?

Well thats me for now, you need any other info just ask, see you in the screen!
(ps: you will also find me on XboxLive, same name)

cześc Grzegorz, you sure are a busy little bee, glad to have someone with your experience on here around.

Thanks for the advice No14 (if that IS your real name!), however it is a sketch, but i'll figure it out!

Pimsleur audio

That Pimsleur is good stuff. Nearly all the Polish I know is from that series. You can speak perfect Polish so long as the person you're speaking with speaks slowly and asks you "Where is the beautiful street?" Welcome anyway.
